The European Federation' also called Federal Europe, the EF or just Europe is a superpower which covers Scandanavia, western, southern, northern and parts of central Continental Europe, the British Isles, the Channel Islands, Sicily and Malta in Earth 1.0. Founded in the 1970s as a resulted merge between France, Spain, West Germany and Italy many other EU member countres joined. The Scandanavian countries and Great Britain is an example who joined in the eighties. Each President serves a term which lasts for four years. The longest serving President is The Leader, the first Latino president who has served three terms.
They currently have a colony in New Earth which covers the same area as the EF on Earth. It's represented as the New Europe Colony but before it was a territory then a commonwealth. They also have a colony in America 2.0 which is in the same area as Alaska (no wonder why they called it the New Alaska Colony). The federation borders the Bloclavian Republic in the east (central Europe area), however the realtions between these two countries aren't very well.

1970 European-Arab and Russian War[]
In 1970 the governments of France and West Germany signed a deal with southern Cyprus; they will reclaim the north from Turkey. A small expeditionary force landed in the north of Cyprus and retook the north. This angered the Turks. The United Arab Republic told Turkey that it would capture the entire island. The French and Germans were commited to defending Cyprus.
The French have already been suporting an attempted corp in Egypt who wanted to lesve the republic. They've also sent peacekeeping force in Lebaneese Civil War.
